CALGARY - The Calgary Flames seemed to be destined for another disappointing loss, until they finally started getting some of the bounces to go their way.

It took just 89 seconds to alter the fortunes of the Edmonton Oilers. They had snuck out to a 1-0 lead with a Tom Gilbert power-play goal, and they even emerged from a shaky second period still one goal up on the Calgary Flames, who have had command of this provincial rivalry for quite some time.
